Huh, whaddaya know...

I received a really nice comment on my blog the other day from this guy. I paid his blog a visit, and noticed this "Life Quiz". I'm a sucker for questionnaires, so I had to check it out. Here are my results:

Take the Rate My Life Quiz

My Love score was so high, they asked me to comment further on it in hopes that I might inspire/enlighten others. To be honest, I don't know why I scored so high except to say that I chose "strongly agree" to the happily married question. I wasn't lying, either (for all you cynics out there).

What I thought was strange was the fairly high Spirit score. Huh? Me? Spiritual?! The only spirits I believe in are those in my cocktail. I suppose in spite of my lack of religion, they gave me points for being at peace with my lack of religion.

Well, thanks for sharing the Life Quiz, Steven. At least they didn't tell me I was miserable!

Springtime goodies

Do you ever get bummed out after bidding on something on eBay, only to find out that you lost to some sniper? Happens to me all the time. But every once in a while, something magical happens... you bid really low, and no one snipes it!

Here's what I got for twelve bucks:

Pretty good, eh? I wanted some Yorkshire Tweed to begin pulling colors for "Electra", the cover vest from Rowan 38. I absolutely love the vest, but when I started Googling other blogs I realized that I'd have to face my biggest knitting nightmare - yarn ends. Oh, how I can't stand weaving in ends. And unfortunately, they go hand in hand with fair isle. So, maybe something else.
